thank you for the kind comments. i think i need to take a trip to rochester i keep reading about some nice reef stores, and i want to pick up some local type frags i hear about in URS forums.
updates: added 50lbs Fiji rock, still working on the stack. I will snap some pictures tonight after work. i also added a black and white Heniochus . a nice addition so far getting picked on a little by my yellow tang. the green clown goby and black blenny have made them selves at home pretty quickly as well.
i will be taking some pictures tonight when i get out of work. yeah i am at my fish limit for now waiting some months then adding a final fish a majestic angel. next few months i will be working on adding some corals and getting my new lighting wired up. i think i might try what was suggested to me before with moving the center brace and running 3 250w MH, rather than the 2 of them.
see, moving the center brace? that scares the crap outta me...in my strict engineering brain it's like changing the design that was intended to make it sound to begin with.....
yeah it does freak me out a little. going to have someone comeover to check it out and see if it is possible to do, and wise to do. originally i wanted 2 MH on each side and a 24-36 inch t-5 in the center. this is still a possible as well.
yup! you will have a little bit of shade in the center (not much though, MH's are great) but that can be a beneficial area later on for any coral that needs lower light.
i cant wait to get the new lights set up it will allow me to keep more types of corals. hoping it's done by 3/27 so i can pick up some frags at the swap @ ARC.
