125 build ..

The egg crate was for weight distribution , I didnt want to create any pressure points with the way I was doing my stack.

Here is a lunch break pic. Its only been running since 6am and its already settled.

Rock is sitting on the egg crate. The sand is misleading. I just re distributed the sand the idea was to create a better view from the right side of the tank, if you look through the side now it looks like you can see everything better. The higher sand bed on the left tricks your eye from the other side and gives it more of a "wow/cool" effect . I guess it makes the view from the dining room door more visually appealing. I will take pics later.

i love the one rock on the left hand side that is kind of suspended under the stack....reminds me of the stalagmites in caverns.....nice job.

Wow, that rock work is amazing. That had to take a while. I tired to do something like that and after 20 minutes I had enough. How long did that aquascaping take?

Thanks, I am now doing a lot of research on fish. need to get some color in there now. Anybody have any suggestions on compatible reef safe fish?

Tank is coming along nicely Andrew! I love that gorgonian up front. :)

What I have seen other people do with success is to put together a list of fish they're interested in and then we are usually pretty good at determining compatibility and suggestions from that. Are there any fish in particular that catch your eye?

I would get 5 yellow tangs and 15+ chromies. I never really liked yellow tangs until I saw a friends tank with 6 or 7 shoaling around. They looking amazing in groups.
