Greg,

I have "just" restarted to stock my tank ( with corals ) after a miserable first start... Now the tank has finally stabalized enough to get back into it again.... These are the 1st shots taken after putting them in the tank .... I got them in Atlanta yesterday....

1st, the mushrooms.... they are covering a rock incrusted with sponge...

Now for the green lobo ( which opened further during the night )

Sorry for the pic's not being the best ...I'll upload better ones after the MH's come back on .... What's your take on their feeding... I picked up some cyclop-eeze and some DT Plankton for their care ( as well as the rest of the filter feeders in the tank..)

Your suggestions/comments will be most welcome

Looks like some nice pieces, those mushrooms look a lot like some of mine.

I don't really feed any of my shrooms, they tend to do well on their own.

As far as the Lobo goes, I feed something else in the tank and it will open up when it smells it in the water, cyclopeeze are good but they can also eat bigger things like mysis shrimp.

I wouldn't dose the phyto as much as it recomend maybe once or twice a week. It's not necessary but I think does help.

Hey Gregg your tank still looks amazing no matter what forum I look at. :)
How is that tusk?
I was thinking of getting one as well but I don't no if I want to loose my cleanre shrimp just yet. I see them all the time cleaning the fish.
I am going to try and post my tank today when the MH go on. I don't think you saw it yet populated.

What's your name on another forum?
The tusk is good but I don't have any shrimp. He will definitely eat shrimp, crabs, and snails.
The tank looks very nice, what size is it?

Toddlaco, Thanks.

JustFin, yeh, they had a larger one but I wanted him. He's probably around 3" long.

Thanks for the input Greg... You're right concerning the feeding ... it's been recommended not to overdose simply because it may increase polution in the tank ... I'm cycling some button polyps I just traded for as I type this... Not a bad deal... I traded two spiney urchins that where eating up my coraline for two pieces of rock with the polyps.... ( $20 )

I'll upload some pics... The lobo did what you said ... it's tentacles extended this morning after cleaning the front glass... I gave it a small shot of zooplankton....

bmanzie, hey balistik, I didn't even recognize the tank, it's lookin good. Welcome to the RC world.

Fishman, I wouldn't feed it zooplankton, I don't think it will help much, give it some meat. Shoot some mysis shrimp with a syringe.
I like the new pics, those shrooms get huge.

Wow. Read through all 11 pages and the tank looks great. :) Your corals are doing very well under the light you have.
The H Tusk is a great looking addition. Beautiful fish. Keep up the great work and I will be following along.

I have to agree with you on that .. ( and I have many times ) ... I noticed that you're from N. Atlanta area ... My wife and I where up that way this past weekend... We went to "The Fish Store" for the first time .... Man I can't say enough about that place.... Just wish I had had more money ... I bought a green lobophyllia that has since opened up larger than the original pictures I posted show... and the Mushrooms are the same ... It makes a big difference buying from a good store.... Also met a fella named Porter Betts.... He helped out in the selection.... I'll be going back to get some of "his" peppermint shrimp....

JustOneMoreTank, welcome to the club. Thanks for the comments. My tank is always changing, not always on purpose. I'm hoping to have some new full tank shots in the next couple of days.

Gregg what do you have for flow on the sides of your tank?
I think I just screwed up by doing the MJ mod that was on one of these posts.

I have a SEIO 1100 on the right side and a penguin 1160 on the left side. I like the SEIO it creates a lot of indirect flow. It jammed a few times the first month but never since then. I also have 1800gph coming from my return pump.

You'll have to play with it. The penguin is a lot weaker and I ue that near the LPS, 2 1100 SEIOs in a 125g is a lot of flow for things other than SPS.
