Hello everybody. So I guess I need help.

Last week I setup a 125 Gallon Perfecto Reef Ready, an upgrade from my old 55. I built a stand and I built the tank into the wall.

Unfortuanately, I found a bunch of scratches on the glass in the front of the tank and i'm going to have the tank replaced. This time I think I want to run PVC plumbing.

This is my current setup.

So what ideas do you guys have. I will have another 125 Perfecto Reef Ready. I am plumbing this into a 55 AGA for a Sump. I am using a MAG 12 for flow. I also have a MAG 5 that can be used. Eventually, I want to plumb a 20 Gallon Refugium and a Protein Skimmer into the mix. Using the diagram I have here, what ideas do you have for me to plumb this when the new tank arrives. Ball valves, angles, pvc dimenisons, etc. Obviously, i'll eventually want to be able to add the skimmer and refugium. Ideas ideas???

Thanks a lot!!

does everybody else feel the same way? I am better off with flexible plumbing? Is the PVC plumbing an advantage? Disadvantage. I really am just not sure what to do here.

Any chance you can get some closed loop holes drilled in the back? Either that or a nice closed loop return manifold over the top.

I dont think PVC is a requirement, and would submit that the soft hose with the smooth turns are probably better than the hard right angles you get with PVC, leaving you with more net flow from your pumps.

But thats just my .02 :D
