130 gallon sps tank

Awesome tank man! It's amazing how fast they grow. How did you over come your GHA so well if you don't mind me asking ?

Main thing it took was patience. I started feeding smaller amounts more frequently. I became alot more vigilant with tank maintenance, so manually removed as much GHA as i could and syphoned as much detritus out of my tank/sump as possible. Changing my filter sock every few days also seemed to help alot.

Very nice shots! Is that big green one a Slimer? Cant believe how thick the branches are on that coral!

It is a green slimer. Since running out of vertical space, the branches have been getting thicker

Quick update. Finally added cladding. managed to get brushed aluminium cut and bent to size. It does look a bit space ship-like, but it looks good. Also handles salt water better than i thought.

I mounted a piece lower down, shouldnt take long to fill the gap

If you look carefully youll see a few colonies have fairly substantial dead bits. We had a slight incident with our builders and they decided to paint a lot more than planned, came home to a home smelling of paint and very unhappy corals. After initial die off, things have settled and are growing and colouring up nicely
