Sorry to hear about the "wise old owl", as I believe I once referred to her. And yes, I believe the cycle of life continues, and I really hope her energy is with one of your new babies !
Gorgeous little guys!

Sorry for the loss. I've definitely had a few special fish through the years and it's such a bummer when something like that happens.

Fingers crossed for you on your small bandits. Good luck!

So sorry to hear about the Cortez. I appreciate the insight and past history of him/her that you've provided upon request. Nine years is quite a long time spent with any animal, especially a marine fish, and your observations and interactions were awesome to read about. Best of luck with the new babies!

Thanks bud...

still swimming....feeding hourly...

fingers and fins still crossed...

I'm not really a person qualified to give you advice on getting small fish to eat, but have you tried a fresh oyster? I have used this in the past when getting butterflies to eat.

Hope they start chowing down soon.

Thanks, I have not tried oyster but may give that a try...they seem to be picking often but I am not standing by the tank...really giving them as much space as I can...

If they're picking I'm sure you're on your way. I like to change up the shellfish I feed occasionally for the variety, but oysters are pretty messy.

They are so cute, I hope they do well for you.

Thanks, lol, that is why I try an avoid them...way too messy...as nerve wracking as it is, they are really wonderful at this size, just fascinating to watch, though, lol, I am mainly watching from around the corner...I did a big wc in the 250 today, which is perpendicular to the 125, and they didn't seem to phased every time I walked past them..

Appreciate it!

Went scuba diving today down to 40 feet on pretty nice reef. Tons of fish. Tangs triggers eels, butterfly's, and all. So nice to see it natural enviro. I was amazed at butterfly population. Idols and exquisite and ornates and long nose and we'll. No clarion or bandits. Lol.

Lol, what are you sending me?

Hook-up with Barnett yet?

Enjoy!
