130 X 36 x 36 inbound...any suggestions?

It seems Karen and I both have a gp that gained the black the bar on virtually the same day...

6 months old a few days ago and doing great...

black bar just starting on this gp...

Was looking at this tanks thread,it's wonderful!I can't see an aquarium half the size of that in my future! :)

I find myself looking at every picture of the personatus babies over and over again. Maybe we'll be seeing a male transformation this time next year?

some pics from a few min ago...again, not great...
getting ready to do some wc, will try and post more later..

lousy, but I lke the shadow cast by the middle gp on the pvc...

What's their behavior like, Ted? Do they recognize you yet & beg for food? Are you letting them sample nori yet?

yeah, after the first week they began to recognize me as the "food guy." they beg, love to eat, and are always out and about, easily seen...they do not hide and are not shy.
there is nori in the herb frenzy, I am not adding any sheets or pieces of nori to tank...

And how do they react with each other?

they are usually pretty close to each other but can be quite tough...1 of them went rogue a couple weeks ago and was viscous towards the other 2...there were some epic battles between 2 of the 3, with some fin damage...I wonder if the appearance of the black bar bothered one of them. I had to put the aggressor in an iso box for a week. that is also the reason there is much more pvc in the tank now... the high level of aggression is gone, lol, for now anyway...

I'm loving your photos Ted.

It's funny that when I look at the personatus at my place I'm always checking on the tanks, making sure everything's running correctly and looking at the fish with a critical eye. When I look at your fish I can just sit back and enjoy them!

On top of that, the little conspic is a beauty plus the DT videos of all those amazing fish are unbelievable!

Hah! And I've been stressed out watching the slight aggression trying to pair two small flame angels....can't imagine!

Thank you for all the pictures...they are beautiful fish!

Man I wish you posted more pictures...J/K.

Thanks so much for sharing these little guys with us, they look awesome.

Long term, what is the plan for pairing these fish. Do they naturally exist in pairs or trios? Do you think you'll have to watch for aggression as they mature and two of them form a pair?

Thanks! The stress does get interesting from time-to-time...
I try not to think of the monetary value each fish has attached to it but rather that they are all priceless and my friends, might sound cheesy but im okay with that...and, lol, that lil royal gramma still turns everyone's head...
