130 X 36 x 36 inbound...any suggestions?

Haven't seen any updates recently, I hope all the fish are doing well and that you will post some new pics soon

Ted, I wish you would get some interesting fish for a change, rather than all these ho-hum, run-of-the mill fishes.

:D

now for the sad story...

this is the aberrant colins from Barrnet that Michael got in yesterday.
he thought he was getting last week but it didn't happen.
then things changed and somehow Michael was able to get her.
I went down yesterday and picked her up almost as soon as Michael returned from the airport.
the fish was still in the bag. it was easily the worst packing job I have ever seen and the fish looked bad as soon as I laid eyes on her, I saw a white spot on dorsal, not moving, laying down, heavy breathing.
an hour to my house didn't help. when I got home she was laying down and barely breathing.
I acclimated quickly and dumped her in and spent a lot of time with her.
I finally got her upright but it is clear she has not eaten in a while and I noticed more ich...

Really hope she doesn't die and further hope the other fish don't get sick...

Will let you know...

This pic doesn't really reflect her poor state- I am amazed she is upright...

just to clear....this fish spent zero time in Michael's system..I bought her home in the bag he received her in....

Aww, what a beauty!

thanks..

overly focused on this colins...absolutely amazed she is upright...
she is a tough fish and seems like she wants to live but she must eat...

she is very big for a colins, should have been left behind to create a bunch more ab colins....last colins I had this size, did not survive as it would not eat enough... fingers really crossed here....

gp udate...

these fish are really doing well...getting very big...the 3rd's black bar is filling in quickly...I think I will remove the pvc and add marco dry rock over thanksgiving...this tank is clearly no longer a qt but will be their home for a while...
