I have a 150g 72" long tank. It probably has about 110 lbs of live rock in it. the rock is set up with a lot of gaps and paths to travel. There is plenty of room all around the live rock for larger fish to swim. My sump and fuge together hold about 25 gallons total. I have a large healthy clean up crew.

Currently I have

1) yellow tang
1) fridmani dottyback
1) 3 stripe damsel
1) lawnmower blenny
1) pigmy angel
5) pepperment shrimp

I am wanting to add

2) true perc clowns
4-6) blue reef chromis
3-6) black bar chromis
1) dispar anthia
1) bimaculatus anthia
a few wrasses and maybe a powder blue tang.

As far as the chromis will the differnt type of cromis swim together or do they all need to be the same type. Live aquaria reccomends 6 for them to be happy. can I use 3 of each to get the 6?

And for my bioload anyone see any problems.
Also I have bioballs and a 5" aragonite sand bed

I had a school of 5 blue-green chromi's for a year that were great, then they went nuts and now I have two left that hide all day. Alot of people have had this same experience with chromi's so most do not suggest them as a schooling fish. The blue reef chromi's from the caribbean get bigger and are more solitary also. I would suggest ditching the chromis and get a small harem of 4-5 lyretail anthias.

I would think a PBT should do okay but its always a guess with yellow tangs as they can be aggressive.

extra high flow for the tang. Skip the chromis. We have two left and one picks on the other all day long. We're just waiting for them to jump out because they're too hard to catch.

Lyretail anthias make a nice display ... always out in the open and in the top part of the tank. I have a green chromis who schools with them most of the time and picks on them the rest of the time but the anthias are growing quickly and starting to turn the tables. You can get all females and the dominant one should change to a male after a few months.

Most everyone i know with chromis end up slowly losing the group from aggression after a while, that's why i got one only, and I've had him for a year he's ok by himself.

If you get fairy/flasher wrasses make sure you don't add a six line...

cool thanks. I have 4 maxijet1200's plus my return pump which I estimate to be 500gph. I plan on adding a few more mj 1200's
