Great progress, I don't know what type of coral you like,but one thing is for sure you're going to have lots of flow in the DT. Well one more thing is also true our wife's came from different worlds,please give yours a hug for me you have a good one.

couldn't get the full closed loop finalized but was able to install return and drain lines.
Tomorrow continue to actually connect the outlets.

all leaks I encountered where joints from hard PVC to the flexible PVC is their some sort of trick to connect those better?

I'm not sure how you did the flex to rigid PVC,so I will just say how I do it. First I only use cement made for this application such has Weld-on PVC 795 or Oatley Flexible PVC cement.Also when I push the flex into the connector I hold it in place for 30 seconds or so.I find with flex wants to push back out and not seal has well if I don't hold it in. Keep the updates coming I enjoy them. Thanks Mike

I do the same thing but i always twist either the flex pvc or the hard pvc. I encounter lesser leaks and better bond.

mmm flexible PVC cement is not available here in Thailand
Anyway second time I actually did something similar as you described with loads of glue added the make a film inside the joint.
Will have them dry overnight without anyone touching them
if that doesnt work I will have to go complete hard PVC plumbing will not be my favorite thing to do under the tank.

after a second attempt on the flexible PVC and having leaks again I decided on hard plumbing the closed loop

I have 3 Tunze power heads connected with a little glass bridge (so they sit deeper in the water) and 2 larger Tunze power heads in a build in wave box in the tank.
Still have to check 2 of them as 2 seem to have stopped working???
Underneath the tank I have 2 separate Diablo 10500 connected to 2 oceans motions flow diverts which are connected through the tank with regular SCHED 80 bulkheads.

Thanks for the recap,it's the wave box idea I'm wondering about I understand how the stand alone Tunze boxes work. I want to better understand how your built in wave boxes work. I hope this makes sense and I am not being a pain in the ... by asking. Thanks Mike

The JNS SK 6 internal skimmer is a nice looking skimmer, how many gallons is it rated. I went searching it and no gallons mentioned..
