Just wondering, I know this thread says there's better parking, but is there a large private parking lot or what? Can anyone give any insight on this situation?

Capacity for formal seating with a dance floor (Wedding setup) is 250....people wander in and out, and there's a large deck out back. When we booked the place we were estimating the swap would be much smaller because of the economy, guessed wrong....but the good kind of wrong. This space is still WAY better than any hotel ballroom. The great people who run this place have really taken care of us, especially letting us get in early, and stay late. Plug for the venue if you're planning a party of any size.

PS.....GFS people thought I was crazy today....

The lodge does catered events such as weddings, etc. so my guess (and its a guess) is that the 250 is for sit down type affairs. I haven't seen first hand but I believe its significantly larger than the former venue.

With that being said, I would still expect things to be hectic for the 1st hour. We will do our best to get everyone in as quickly as possible.

Also , just to reiterate, only sponsors and vendors ($50 table) will have access prior to 12n. I have had over 30 inquiries asking for early admittance so I want to be clear so no one is waiting around too long.

You guys are going to really like this place. I grew up right across the street from it and used to sneak into it 35 yrs ago when I was about 12. It was ready to fall down at the time (not break in-it had doors and windows missing) Since then it has been completely rebuilt and looking good. There should be plenty of parking, the space is much larger and the view off the back deck is amazing. It is built on the top of a ridge that overlooks a valley and you can see for miles. I'm a hobbyist who is setting up as a vendor for the first time and I think this will be one the best swaps in a long time.

I haven't gotten all of my frags posted, look for last minute additions tomorrow. Besides, every year there are people who want stuff that is presold, so bringing some extras wont hurt.
