I put 2 can light's above the tank one on the left and one on teh right side so when i slide the canapy back i will be able to see what i am doing in the tank.
Here is a picture of the exhaust fan in the back of the room i will have it on a timer to come on during the day time hrs. to get some of the humidity out of the room. I have a cold air return plate in the wall at the base of the front of the room to draw air into the room were we will be putting the family room.

In this photo the front of the room on the ceiling i have to can lights over the the tank and to the left is the vent that will be used for the canopy, and there is 8 plugs on the ceiling also these will be used for the lights and fans in the canapy.
I didn't get any of the painting so here we are down to having tank in the wall. Here is a couple of shots of tank in front and in the room. Here is a picture of the ocean motion 8 way and the reef dart pump. I will start on the tonight and hope to have it all done in the morning. I also drilled all the holes in the back of the glass.
Your right it is 24 ft. of pipe. I hope it will work out just right. Will have to test it out and see what happens this week end. Ahuxman58. I will post some pictures after i get it filled up and running.
Did you do any research on how many holes are in the back of the tank and how many it could handle?
I am no expert and I have no idea but would think eight is a lot.
Is that structuraly OK to do?
I have a 180 as well and have debated the drilling of the tank, A question I always have is how many is too many.
Very nice tank. I've been looking to have a 300 drilled with 8 holes and was told it would be no problem at all. The key is not to have the holes too close together.
Great plumbing btw.
