Also for you more well versed coral experts, I could use some ID help.

First, this little frag that I think came from Bart:

Second, I think also came from Bart:

Lastly, on my clam is what appears to be some sort of bi-valve hitchhiker. It opens and closes similar to the clam. Its generally covered by the big clams mantle but at night this little guy is exposed. Reminds me of a venus fly trap. (Right in the center of the pic):

Thanks guys. I bought the D10 for our wedding in Hawaii and also to take some underwater pics of the tank. So far, I've been really impressed with it. Takes great shots out of the water too.

Lindsey, I can't find much info on a tinkerbell coral. I assume the lighting and flow requirements are similar to other common acros? I am just trying to figure out where to place those 2 unknowns in the tank. They have both colored up a lot more since putting them in the tank on the frag rack and its fairly high up so I guess I'll just try and place them in a similar area on the rocks.

Great pics Josh. You colors are rocking

the first is Elkhorn.....what does GT Jacket win??
the second looks like what I have been calling tinkerbell, but no longer think that is the proper id. I had mine about 10" under water under 10k reeflux 400W at 10" with moderate flow and it was powder blue.

Looks awesome, Josh! Do you have a full tank shot?

Brandon

I don't have any good full tank shots. The room is not wide enough to have room to get the whole width in a single shot very easily. Also, I still haven't made doors for the canopy so the light makes it tough to get one. I'll try to see if I can come up with one soon though. Rick has been kind enough to offer his services to help make some doors soon. :)

Thanks Bart, I was hoping you would know what these were. Mine has no hint of blue at all. Its more of a yellowish green color. Mine are under 250W radiums though. Pretty cool how much different corals can be under different lights.

Josh, and bart, mine is about 8" under the surface under the 20k Plusrites and looks just like the one that Josh has. that said, mine is about 1/2" tall. it made it best thru the burning we had a few weeks ago. im anxious to see how it colors up more.

Looking nice josh. So glad you stuck with it and didn't give up. Everything looks very healthy. We will get that stand finished for ya :)

Thanks Rick. I am glad I stuck with it too. Everything finally seems to be coming along nicely and growing well.

I'll give you a shout sometime soon about those doors. I'm looking forward to trying out those raised panel bits.
