Alright so I went on vacation on the 7th and just got home yesterday. I’m not sure what the heck happened but I got a ton of visible growth to me.

As of today:

Remaining frag of the green apple monti cap: It browned out then bleached and is gaining color back

New add:
ASD Shocktart. I need to clean that bit of algae at the base but it is encrusting some.

So discovered something interesting. The Mr. Freeze lepto is bouncing.

Is that normal for Leptos?

Not to my knowledge. There’s a little researched issue people call bubbling SPS disease. Unknown cause (believed pathogenic) and unknown cure (though anecdotal evidence shows increasing par seems to cure it). There’s threads here and on R2R. Some say its transmittable between corals eventually leading to death. Others have it on one coral and it cures itself. Seems to only be affecting the one lepto and only that area. Been that way for a couple weeks

So far so good. Glad I fragged the blue flame when I did. One frag of it is still doing well. The rest quickly RTNd. Otherwise they’re all doing well.
