It looks like those lil bugs that eat coraline alge. To be on the safe side I would take it out.
Nice looking corals. Can we get a FTS show everyone your skills. Josh made the stand canopy and sump. Let us see your handy work.

seeing that stand and canopy last night, it was very slick and ornate.

Josh, I was also thinking aobut you enclosing the bottom. what if you did it in a smoked glass so you can still see below. that would look pretty neat.

Thanks guys, I'll see what I can do about getting some wider angle pictures.

Lindsey, that is definitely an option I hadn't considered. I do enjoy being able to have visiblity of the sump and that would help cut down on some of the noise as well. Thanks for the suggestion. BTW - how is your alkalinity coming along?

low still. actually barely budged last night so I think I understimated my water volume. we dosed it a bit more tonight... slowly but surely...

Better to be too slow than too fast anyway. Let me know if you want to check it again when you think you have it back up where it needs to be.
