180 Reef Upgrade

Mr. AccidentWaitingToHappen

Place your bets - will tip over corals, eat corals, stab my hand! :)

Last already happened when I was placing him in the tank lol

Thinking about adding 10 or so anthias to the tank, any reason this would be a bad idea? Lyretail ones probably.

Current stock - blue hippo, sailfin, yellow, and tomini tangs, randall's goby, starry blenny, and 3 ocelaris/maroon mix clownfish.

Main reason for the new additions is increase in the movement in the tank.

Thanks.

Not a bad idea! You just have to feed them more, some recommend 4-6x/day.

Fish poop is the best food for corals IMO as long as your skimmer can handle the heavy bioload!

Quick update video. Got 24mm lens so can grab whole tank in one shot now. Still do not like video quality >< Always looks bit blurry and low quality heh.

Fantastic tank man. Kudos to you. I so want to see how this looks in the next 2 years. That tank will be slammed with coral. I do have a few suggestions from lessons learned. Keep the branching corals up top and try to isolate the encrusting ones. They will kill everything they touch and take over a branching.
