I would like to know if anybody out there has an Oceanic tank 180 gal that has been drilled out for PVC on the BACK of the tank? I have an older model tank with wood trim that I would like to get in the house soon and get set-up. I would like to get it made with the Beans Pipes as I have the acryllic box made. I do not want to find out after the fact that the back of the tank is tempered. Please do not educate me on using polarized filters as 1) they are not easy to come by if on limited cash on hand, 2) the tank is nowhere near a direct source of sunlight, 3) I really do not know what I am to see with the filters anyway. I tried calling the manufactuer - they could not be more than 75% + that the back is not tempered glass.
I figure there must be somebody out in this world with an older model tank that had been drilled on the back. This way I would be making a better informed decision as to drill or not drill. I hate making those horrible discoveries as my insight is not 20/20 on those sort of things.
Thanx!
