The Sohal is ~5". They're buddies. Swim together at times :) I had a Sohal in my last tank, too, and he was one of the calmest fish in there. My PBT was the mean one. I called him Psycho.

It was a 240g peninsula. We moved, and it wouldn't fit into our new house.

As far as tangs, I had a yellow, purple, blue, powder blue, Achilles, Sohal, Vlamingi, Naso, and Dussiemerri :) Don't send the police :D

GSM, thanks!

Reeftanks - I have a thing for tangs. This time around, I still want a PBT, Achilles, juvi Chevron, and blond Naso. I may pick up a purple. I wanted a Gem tang until I looked up the price :eek1:

great shot Tbone and the sohal will be the king soon. i have a sohal, purple and dussumier tang in my 1st fuge for about 6 months and come time to feeding he's the king and nobodies eats until hes finished especially clip seaweed. last few months the purple has few cuts and same with dussumier due to sohal, but heal in couple days :( . i will add them into main display until my tang collection is done. i thought you was going to wait before adding more fishes, guess its hard looking at the main display very little amount of fishes :D. i can never get tired of the FTS along with that commercial kitchen, you can keep them coming

Hey Bart, you're right...I wanted to add fish slowly, but Sohals are hard to come by, especially this time of year for Red Sea fish, so I had to bring him home when I saw him.

I hope my Sohal doesn't become aggressive. My last Sohal wasn't. All my tangs got along well last time. The only trouble I had was when I added my Achilles after my PBT. PBT wouldn't let him eat, so I put the PBT into quarrantine for a while.

I like to gamble :) If I need to, I'll remove the Sohal and purple and place them into quarratine for a while so they "forget" that the display tank is their home.

Any tricks to share to get my tangs to get along?

I read some people posting about having a mirror on a few places in the tank, so the aggressif fish would see himself in the mirror and start harassing him instead of the other fishes. Never tried it, but if you do, let us know :)

Surprise!

- Double Cone design
- RD2000 pump (2L/H air)
- Draws only 45W
- Silent Operation: important since tank's in our family room

LOL, that's probably why it took 7 years for me to make the jump! Been a happy Euroreef user this whole time, but have always wondered "what it's like"...

CAN'T wait til it comes in :)

Looks good. You know what you can do for all those tangs. You can move some of the rock around and the mirror trick. Or you could take them out and add them all at the same time but that might be a lot of work.

What's worked for me in the past was introducing them all at the same time. So, when I introduce more tangs later, and my Sohal shows aggression, I'll either take him out or take both him and the new tang out and place into quarrantine for a while.

I don't want to move my rock work, since I like how it looks right now! :)
