I've been working on the tank for the last two days and I am lost again T. I guess I will need a cliffnoted version or some new pictures of the corals you are going to buy today. :D

I blame Sang.

I second that. Maybe it was Anthony as well. That is why he is in hiding.

haha, I think Anthony got this whole thing started!!! Where is that guy anyway? Then Steve joined in, but when Sang coined that "T-boned" phrase, that was the end of it!!! Where is that guy anyway? He wins a few bucks playin poker, and he's non-existent here. He better be buying that gem tang right now :) You know, I only had like 300 posts from the time I joined until maybe last August or so??? :eek2: I guess you can say I'm on a roll! :D

Dan- you go with the Large? and thanks for the love

Sang, do you play in the asian undergound world? do you go to that dark, damp, underground concrete baseement in the back alleys of Chinatown? :D

:D

Won another $100 last night! Another game tonight!

My Grandfather was quite the card player and supported himself thru his retirement playing cards by night and going to the race track by day.

Adam - I really like the BK. The BK is pretty efficient. It pulls out in 2 days what the ER would pull out in 3. My water column also looks clearer now. The BK is well built and silent.

Would I go so far to say that the BK is worth $1000 more than the ER? Probably not. It's like asking if a McLaren SLR is worth 300K more than most cars. You buy it not only for its performance, but for other features, build quality, etc. part of what you're paying for is its name, too.

My ER was a great performer with the Eheim 1262 on it. It, too, was quiet. It was not much louder than the Red Dragon. However, it pulled much less air at much more wattage than the RD.

For 8 years, I used only ERs because I never wanted to spend that kind of money on equipment. For some reason, I had the itch to give a high-end skimmer a try.

Would I buy a BK again? As long as I am willing to spend that kind of money, a definite yes. If I did not have the "itch", I would still be very happy with my ER.

don't tell me you still boil your drinking water, like my parents do??

Hey Tbone, how about another FTS with the kitchen?? Just love your kitchen....Ed

Thanks Ed, no new shots of the kitchen yet. It looks the same, except it's a little dirtier from all the water that boiled over :D

Here's a pic of my nog with the BK set to skim a bit wetter

Here it is 2 days prior, when I had to set to skim dry:
