180g Starphire A.G.E on its way!

You know what Mark, I tried to pm the buyer on a few occasions but he has yet to get back to me. My guess is that either he resold them or they died.:( I desperately wanted to buy them back when I had my Elos tank.

I thought I remembered you saying that when the elos was getting set up. I wonder how many RCT pygmy's are left :sad1:

OK, time for an OFF-topic Reefing question

Lighting

Currently running (2) 8x39w (624w)ATI Powermodules over my 72" x24" tank

The fixtures basically span the entire 72", and run 17.5" deep.

I'm considering swapping those for a single Powermodule. Either

8x80w (640w) (58" wide, 17.5" deep) - I'd lose 7" of light coverage on each end.
or
10x80w (800w) ( 58" wide, 21" deep) - I gain a bit of front-to-back light coverage.

Thoughts? :)

None of the above. Go MH!

Yes, yes. A porterhouse is CLEARLY superior to a t-bone.

Both fixtures sold! Going to order an 8x80 Powermodule from reefgeek tomorrow

Doing this cuz a single fixture will look cleaner over the tank, and bulb replacement will be much cheaper. The 80w bulbs are only a couple bucks more than the 39w bulbs. I have half as many bulbs to replace now, which leaves more money for sticks...listening Mark??? ;)

New bulbs

1x Fiji Purple
3x ATI aquablue special
4x ATI Blue Plus

I have an extra Blue Plus and ATI True actinic coming in as well to play around with.
