18g high nanoreef

nice tank, looks deeper than 10" in the pics, I thought it was a cube when I first saw it

any problems with all those hermit crabs? have heard of them tasting corals from time to time

is the skilter the only piece of equipment you have for water movement in the tank?

Shane your tank looks awesome. I started the same 18G high in Feb and hope once my frags start growing in my tank will look like yours. Great job.

Hmm, not sure how I missed this thread. I have to say, your tank is gorgeous. I really like the jam packed aquascaping. Everything looks very healthy.

Thanx Sugar Magnolia, I like that jam packed look myself. when I dive, everthing on the reef that is jam packed is most apealing to me.

Ill be moving the livestock into my new setup soon. Ill be selling this setup for 100 bucks + shipping. PM me if interested. Other wise it will be posted in the selling forum.

Its great for simple nano tanks. Its definitely not as good as a hang on skimmer. I had it on my 30g tank first just for skimming and used a fluval filter and it worked great. It is worth the money. This one was $35. But for keeping more difficult corals I would recommend a regular skimmer.
