1st comtroller which one

I'm looking to buy a controller but not sure which one would be best as far as ease of use, set up, expandable, firmware/software updates and so. I am looking at 2 the Neptune Systems APEX and the Reef Keeper ELITE. Which one would the Guru's suggest. Thanks for your help with this.

Either one will handle all sorts of stuff without issue, and are very expandable, and easy to setup.

Personally, after playing with the Apex in Cali, and the fact that Ive been a VERY happy customer of Neptune since the first (Brown) AquaController over ten years ago, Im leaning towards the Apex.

I'd have to agree... APEX all the way.

Neptunes reputation for reliability can't be beat when it comes to controllers... and as far as expandability, the APEX blows everything else out of the water (pun intended ).

I would highly recommend the Neptune as well. Curt makes an excellent product, with the most trouble free units out there. Take a look at the new Apex controller. You get A LOT of bang for the buck with that unit.
