I spent some time getting my damsels out last night. Took about 3 hours, but I got all of them. Just one little thing...thought I'd tell you here so other's might get a small chuckle out of it. One of my yellowtails, the biggest and meanest of them all (he was the one that took me the longest to get out), decided he didn't want to live. I had to put some of my larger pieces of LR/coral in a 5 gal bucket, and that's where I put the fish until I got things back in the tank (they are in the sump now). Well, my anem was on one of those rocks. When I went to put the rock back, he was nice and fat. I figured he was unhappy, no light, no water movement...that kind of thing. When I put all the rock back in the tank, there were only 5 fish left.
So...if you are tired of having damsels in your tank, I'll let you borrow my anem. He seems to have a taste for them.

From what i've been told, and atlantic carpet. I had a thread on here to get it id'ed, and everyone told me to get it out of the tank. I've had it for quite some time, it's doubled in size (i keep it well fed), and I haven't had any problems with it. I guess it's because the clowns were not there to keep other fish away from it. I'll see if i can find a pic of it.

Anyone want a huma-huma triggerfish? I got him from TrippKid and banished him to my sump after fidning all my frags on the other side of the tank.

TK gave him to me, so he's free for the taking to anyone who can provide a good home to him.

I live in York, so you can follow me to my house after Saturday's meet-up and scoop him up.

Think it could live in a mixed reef tank with inverts, tangs, chromis, a mandarin, a clown, royal gramma, etc? I'm not too familiar with them, but I remember seeing it in trippkid's fuge previously.

Alex, he will probably pick at everything, eat all your crabs, and make your tank a mess, I will probably just take him back from Darrin and put him back in my fuge. They really need to be in a fish only system, IMO. He will knock rocks and corals over. He is a really cool fish, just not a model citizen of the tank, for sure.

D, I will take him back(Unless someone really wants him), and either try to get rid of him at the TFP swap or just keep him.

Hey Greg, I have about 15 people(not including people they may bring, so maybe 20 or so) so far on the list for attending. That is up to you, I have been telling people if you want to bring a food item, that is ok, just let me know so I can let everybody else know what not to bring. Please don't feel like you have to do this at all(I was just saying this to people if they felt like they needed to bring something). If you just want to donate some flow, ask Bobby, he is really handling all or most of the food and drink. Have a good one and hope to see you there.

Yes, I am surprised at the thread so far, I am glad to see so many are interested. Where are some of the older members at? I was looking through all of the threads last night and saw a bunch of people that used to be around. I hope we can continue with this type of enthusiasm in the future.

Hey Matt,

You can have the trigger back if you want. I don't plan on doing anything bad to him (muahahahahahaha), I just thought I'd see if anyone could provide him with a better home than my sump. ;-) He's fine. I've seen your sump - mine's an upgrade for him! ;-)

Jandree, yeah I will probably do that for the next time I guess, it is kind of last minute for everyone as of now. There certainly are a lot of views to the thread(I know they may not be from local people and include us checking back in). Bobby did post links to the thread in some of the older threads, but we didn't go as far as PM'ing everyone. This is all new to me to try and organize anything like this. I'll have to start earlier the next time around.

Darin, I'll take him back, he is fine in my fuge, plus since my BTA ate the clown you gave me, I miss having a night time fish in there(fuge is lit opposite the tank). Plus I don't want him terrorizing anyone's tanks, you know how he is, I would feel bad if he did. If someone really wants him, they can have him but I'd like this to be his last home(poor little bastard trigger), LOL. Have a good one, see you Sat.

Most of the old crew don't have tanks anymore or are in between tanks and two were banned from RC over something stupid.

I'll say something to HoopsGuru, he hasn't been around in awhile but might be in to coming.

Hey everyone Saturday is soon upon us, hope to see you all there. We have a few things planned, there should be some videos for you to watch, also anyone interested in fragging and mounting techniques there should be plenty of that, we also are going to do a how-to on a DIY sulfur denitrator(if anyone has a MJ1200 to donate, it would be greatly appreciated, we would like to raffle it off or just pick a winner with straws or something), we will also have a table of used equipment for sale for very reasonable $ or trade(you can bring your used stuff(in good condition) too if you want), as far as trading frags we have a bunch of stuff to give out, but there will also be some for sale if interested(good deals of course, probably 5-10 a frag), this also will help cover some of our expenses for the party(NO ONE IS OBLIGATED TO BRING OR BUY ANYTHING, THAT IS NOT WHAT THIS IS ABOUT, we just thought that if anyone is interested in any used equip or some higher end frags for cheap, they will be offered too), we should have plenty of stuff to go around for free, again so please don't take this as trying to get a sale or anything like that out of you. We are trying to figure this all out, it is the first time for myself trying to organize anything like this. We(all of us) will at some point need to sit down and talk about what kind of direction we want to go with this club, whether to keep it informal or grow it into something larger.
I hope I have not offended anyone with anything, not my or our intention, like I said we are just trying to get a club going and have realized that as it grows it may take some money or creative ideas on how to run it, I am all ears if anyone has suggestions.
I hope to see you all there on Saturday at 1pm, please park along the street and in the driveway, not in the neighbors grass, we should have some markers or somebody helping to park everyone.
