I have a true percula clown and a tomato clown i was wondering if i get an anemone will they try to fight for it? will i have to get 2 anemones?

I'm not big on mixing clowns.
Sometimes it's hard for them to take a mate, yet alone deal with another type of clown.
Tomatoes have a rep of being aggresive, but as previously posted every fish is different

yeh my tomato is aggressive... i had 5 damsels put in... and then they all died the next day.. but before they died i saw the tomato fight with one of the damsels.

I used to have a Perc and a Fire. The fire always messed with the perc. I had 2 anemones. The fire used both and chased the perc away from both of them. Now I have 2 percs.

I keep a tomato and a clarkii. The tomato runs the tank, but the clarkii lives in the carpet anemone. The tomato does not recognize the anemone as a host.

what size tank? if the tank is big enough it could work and i would get to seperate anemone's. One that true per perfers one for the tomato perfers.

The clowns are probably going to fight with or without any Anemone as they age. (Tomato will probably come out on top)

There is really no reason at all to purchase an Anemone for the clowns in the first place. The clowns will do fine without but I would look at removing one or the other and perhaps getting a mate for the one you keep.
I suppose the 2 of the could get along but in time I think the odds are against you. If the tank was say 2X larger, you would stand a better chance I think.

Lastly, keeping 1 Anemone alive for any period of time is typically a pretty good accomplishment.
Keeping 2 of them alive (that are not clones) might be considered either really good or just lucky.
Unless your tank is at least a year old and extremely stable, the only thing you are going to do is kill the Anemone (they live to be over 100+ in the wild.

If you think you can pull it off, I would suggest captive raised E.Quadricolor as they are among the hardiest and easiest to keep (read: they are hard to keep and pretty fragile, however when it comes to Anemone's, they are your best bet besides a Condylactus) There are literally days worth of reading on Anemone's so you should be able to go forward with your eyes open with a bit of effort.

If you already have two clowns in the same tank, you probably need not worry. They have probably have their territories already. Adding an anemone will most likely not affect their behavior. However, only one will host in the anemone.

I thought I had success doing this with a maroon and false.
Thought I was right and all these exp. guys were being too conservstive.
I remember some guys telling me to check back in a few months.
Well, 4 months later my maroon went ballistic on my false.
Both heavily scarred.
They most likely will change w/ age maturity.
I'm not going to try it again.

clarki's are friendly and passive so do want you want!

Not really, my mated pair of clarkii's are no where near too being passive and friendly. In fact I have yet to see any clarkii that I
would consider friendly and passive.

My clarki's had to be removed from the tank as they would thrash anything that came near their nem.
They were mean to all of my fish.
