2 diffrent frags ok same plug should I seperate.

Bought a random premium frag from a company my local pet store deals with. I was wanting some help identifying the frags and should I seperate them. One looks like a hammer. I may be wrong. Any help would be great.

Will take better pics when I get home. Hard to see but the other coral almost looks like a jasmine polyp but a lot longer.

The flow has the other polyps laid over.

The one is a Hammer. The other is xenia. I would suggest separating them and then either isolating the xenia someplace where it can't spread from or getting rid of it altogether. It can easily get way out of control.

I agree with Bill. After you separate them, put both in low light and low flow until they are acclimated to your tank

I also recommend that you search Live Aquaria for anything you plan on buying as far as livestock goes. They have info pages on fish and corals, it tells you tank size, water parameters, feeding tips and tank placement.
