Forget the reef tank !!!! Now my eyes are glued on the fronts ..
I always wanted to setup a tropheus and petrochromis only tank but the damn expense of reef and especially acros have always got in the way .
Post some pics of the alpha male among the fronts .

After keeping reefs for close to 20 years, the ease and low key feel of a deep water Tanganyikan tank is really relaxing. You just sit back and enjoy the fish mellowly interacting No nuisance algae's, no sudden gasp if an aiptasia appears, no need to clean powerheads, etc. pretty contrast to my highly lit, ultra busy reef tank.
As of now, my Fronts are only 2-4" as I bought F1 fry from a breeder in November. Males are clearly growing faster than females, but it's too soon to discern an Alpha.
