2 perculas in a 1 ft cube

Some of you might remember that I was asking abuot keeping two pairs (maroon and percula) in a seven footer. Well I'm now thinking as my new tank has two sumps, could one be a tank for the perculas? It's the small sump, it's literally just a one foot cube. I'd put their anenome in there, with appropriate lighting, would they be alright? So effectively it'd be a one foot tank with a seven foot sump (display tank) and a four foot sump (main sump) connected to it.

This is only an idea, so shoot me down if the tank is too small.

Also, is a tmc aquaray mini tile (led) ok for keeping the bta happy?

I think it would be too small. Some anemones get larger than that.

It wouldn't work long term, but I have a 12" cube as my frag/grow-out display, with two small rbta and a young pair of ocellaris clowns in mine. But the clowns and the nem will out grow this tank to be moved to one of my other tanks.

I don't think that light is enough for anemone. You can keep a H. malu in a 12X12 sand area, and that would be OK for a Percula pair. However H. malu will need much more light, maybe 4 times that much light. In such a small tank, I would recommend against any other anemone. BTA most likely will wander enough to get chew up by your PH in it or block the Overflow and flood your small aquarium.
You will need a small PH for water movement in that tank. Malu will settle in the sand bed and will not craw up and get to the PH. They don't require a lot of flow, but does require some flow. They grew to about 5-6 inches in diameter and do looks very beautiful.
