2 snowflakes, and 2 ocellaris in 225g?

What do you think, I already have the ocellaris, and have the opportunity to get a snowflake pair. Also the guy selling the snowflakes said to make him an offer, how much is the highest good price?

I wouldn't do it. My wife's Snowflake has eaten several small fish. He even goes after her yellow tangs but they are to big for him. Snowflakes eat alot and put a large load on a system. If the snowflakes are small enough this may work for quite some time, but as they grow this may become more of a problem.

Snowflakes are just A. ocellaris clown. They will be fine in a 225 g tank with another Ocellaris.

Caleb, Snowflakes are Ocellaris and in a 225 they should be fine. I would wait until your tank is stable enough to handle the clowns and anemones. Even though I know you only have 3 fish in your 90 I don't recommend putting them in with your other clowns yet. I really recommend only one pair/tank but I have seen worst cases. 2 days ago I met someone with 6 different types of clownfish and 4 damsels in a 55 gal tank. That's a disaster waiting to happen.

As for the cost of snowflakes, are you sure they are not hybrids? I know of 7 pairs of snowflakes in C. Springs and they are all my hybrids. I have never charged anything for my hybrids, excluding trades. There is only one person I would imagine that would part with them, and given his situation I don't blame him, or fault him for selling them. However He knows I have given away over 100 of these hybrids to school projects throughout the country and he should not be taking money from any teenager for them. I hope I am wrong and you found a true pair in which case I have seen them retail for $350-$600. BTW people please do not PM,or email me, I have none left at the moment.

Whats the difference between hybrids, and real snowflakes. If they look generally the same I'm happy because they're cheaper. Also the 225 is 8' long so I think that would help.

FishinWishn's hybrids are snowflake ocellaris x percula. Snowflakes are just ocellaris. Don't risk it, I tried putting a pair of snowflakes with a pair of perculas in a 225g 6x2.5x2 and the perculas beat the crap out of the snowflakes. There were alot of hosting options in the tank and I even put them on the other side of the tank, but the snowflakes ventured to the percula's rbta. I spent the next hour trying to pull the snowflakes and it wasn't fun.

Ron is right. These were little $hit$ at 10 days old and beating up on each other. When I grew them out i tried dividing them up into groups of 10 to grow faster, but there were 3-4 in each group that would constantly dominate the others. I had to group them 50+ in 20 gal tanks to get them to calm down and not be so aggressive.

Here are some of the hybrids and except for the one that is all white you can see the difference comparing the snowflake pair in my avitar. A lot of them looked like regular Percs/Ocellaris with thick headbands..
