20 bartletts anthias will they still kill each other?

Thank you but I had all of those before, they wont last a week with my vicious angels.

Were they not getting enough food, or were they physically being attacked? If the latter, I'd go with bigger meaner anthias, like redstripes, truncate, redbar, etc.

Thanks Peter but those are pretty big I had them before also. I feed plenty so not getting enough food is not an issue,I just need more bolder anthias that will not going to be so big .

IME Bartletts quickly turn into males. I had 11 in my 8 foot tank, 8 of which turned into males.
Then I had 10
Then I had 9
Then I had 8 etc.
The 1 remaining Bartlett is a tough Mother and I reckon he could take out a black tip reef shark with one raise of his invisible eyebrow.

My harem did well on my main tank before I put in on a cube then the countdown start.
I would be careful with stocking this many. Due to your large tank, you may have plenty of room for territory to be fought over which will produce multiple males. If dominance is not figured out quickly you will have multiple males occur at once which will sometimes result in losses if not most likely.
From experience with bartletts on 3 occasions, its best to start small and slowly build your harem. Throwing them in all at once appears to produce a royal rumble effect even if you toss in a male. Depending on how fast it resolves you may retain many or have none at all. This is why some people get varying results with anthias.
I would recommend waiting on your 10 to resolve their territorial disputes and battle for harem dominance completely before putting more into the tank.
