Is It okay to put a Kuda, Redi, or Barbouri Seahorse in a 20 gallon untill I could upgrade the tank into a 29 gallon in 6 months? Also will a 29 gallon be an insufficent size to upgrade too?

Seahorses do best if not kept alone.... IMO, yes you could put 1 pair of either in a 20 gal temporarily as long as you are meticulous with cleaning and water changes. A 29 gal would be sufficient as an upgrade in the future for the pair.

Hi GrayJ,
A 29G is the absolute minimum size for one pair of the large species.

I would recommend planning on a larger tank if you can.
Seahorses need plenty of space the same as other species and will be much more active and happy in as much space as you will provide for them.

I would also recommend waiting until you get a larger tank before purchasing since you already know you will be upgrading and you won't need to put them through another move.
