200+ Blue zoa colony, how much to pay?

Their "sale" price was $72. Does not seem unreasonable but if you all tell me that is high, I'll make my offer and walk if they won't accept.

I'm looking for a sanity check.

Thanks

If it's three times the size of the one in the link, and is only $72, I would have already bought it.
Wanna split it with me? :D

I would probably pay no higher than 150 but hey that is me. :)

/\ /\This post might show how good of a deal that looks like. /\ /\

I think hexedagain is pulling my leg. Does that really sound like a good deal. I've never paid more the $20 for any of my corals except for a couple of maricultured pieces I picked up a few weeks ago.

Every frag of SPS, LSP or Zoa has grown like a weed in my tank.

Really, I think I'm looking for someone to justify buying that coral.

I swear I am not pulling your leg.
If they look just like the one you linked, I will send you $72 plus tax and shipping. You go buy them , frag off a few for yourself, and ship them to me. SERIOUS.

Ok it sounds like that is a resonable price based on your responses.

Maybe I'll pick up the pink colony too.

I'll post some crappy pictues when I buy one or both.

I can hear a sucking sound from my wallet. Nature Abors a Vacuum. I guess I'll have to put in some more time at work to pay for my purchase.

Haha, tell me about it...I don't know what I was thinking when I decided I was going to start keeping corals, but my bank account sure won't appreciate it when I start adding stuff from the LFS or online...(so far I've gotten some cool stuff from local reefers real cheap/free...enough to satisfy my thirst for now, anyways.)

Those Zoa's look really nice...I would probably pay it, but I'd really rather point someone in my local reef club in the right direction and buy a frag of it off of them :) (Hey...it's not selfish...eventually the zoas will have paid for themselves!)

Man, if my LFS was that generous (or even generous at all) I would have jumped on that in a heart beat. I was in my LFS three days ago and saw a 4 or 5 (if even) TINY polyp frag of green zoanthids on a rock no bigger than a nickel and asked how much it was and got the reply of "$15".... :( . It's pretty much a monopoly here in East Tennessee (Tri-Cities).

So Cal is pretty competitive. Every holiday has a sale of some sort 15% to 50% off, buy 2 get 1 free...

SPS and zoa frags from $5 to $20. Some stores get $30 on an average day.

Maybe I should get in business "pinching" off a little and reselling. :)

When I buy, maybe I'll sell of 1/3rd and get my portion for a very good price.

I'ts about time to sell off some of my dragon eyes and some orange/lavender (read pale blue) zoas.

Yeah...it sucks. Not only is there only one SW store and it's like 30-45 minutes away, there is no reef club or anything like that, that I am aware of...so I am constantly feeling ripped off, haha. And I would start ordering online but shipping is a killer. Oh well, there's got to be some way.

I have seen 5 polyps of the Tubs blue for $85.00!!!! I'd love to get some ...any advice? Don't want to pay that much though!
zoafrags has some awesome zoos and paly's! WOW
like candy for your eyes! hahaha
