2000g System overview

hey dgasmd
I need your help for ideas for my heat and humidity.
I raised the roof as well as added a 150 cfm fan. Should I vent it outside?
should I add a cold air vent to my tank room?
Should I tap into to my a/c return line from my room so it goes straight to my air handler supply?
I know close off the room as much as possible and seal in my sump

Anything else?
thanks for the help.
If you come back with some helpful hints I'll let you rub up against my skimmer when you come by.

Hey Kaser
you have a pretty puppy. My dogs dad weighs in at 185. MEAN doggie.
Thanks for the compliments I appreciate them a lot. What do you mean by a web site?

My dog is so hot, your tessa couldn't resist the temptation. She'd be bent over teh second she saw him, allowing me to take your tank and run! :)
is that 185pounder at your house too? I don't know if max could handle seeing a dog bigger then him. He's worked hard for his figure.

by website, I mean... Alot of hobbiest have their own website. A place where they can put all of there stuff for everyone else to see, all in one location.

Ok almost done with the electric.

Here is one wall for devices

almost completed wall bank of switches

CIMG0622_edited.jpg

Every hot and switch is #'s and coded for the future

My 2 DC4's and 1 DC8 and the Schematic for all the wiring so I don't screw it up 2 much

If everything goes well should be done with the electric today. I have one of the guys from Coral Reef Farms (RC Sponsor)that was so nice to offer to help me start my plumbing tomorrow.

If all goes well by next weekend I can be up and running.

I have 16 lighted switches ( the kind that glows when its not on)
For the 16 outlets across the fish room

This will run my pumps some of the reactors like Phosban and carbon, Lights under stand, ect...
I didn't know what I would need in the future so I just #'d them and will add names as I need them.

Then I also have 16 outlets that are run through the ACIII via the 2- DC4's and 1- DC8

The first DC4HD is running 2 -250W MH 14k W/ Hamilton Bulbs and 2- 250W Won Heaters

Second DC4HD Runs 2 -250W MH 14k W/ Hamilton Bulbs and 1- 250W Won Heaters and a space for T5 supplements for the future if I go down to xm10k's

I did this so my heaters and lights are on different GFI's, DC4's and different Circuits ( I have 4 20 amps run to room)
Talk about redundancy...

The DC8 runs

Kalc reactor
moonlights
calc reactor
250w heater
stand fan
exhaust fan
co2
refuge light

I may change this around later..... I will see

I really spent a lot of time setting the electric up so I can expand it and change it around easy in the future.

Hope this helps this is my diagram again

If you need help reading it just ask

I am a man with no electric experience so this question might seem a little simple. How come you did not put the black electrical receptacles inside the wall? :)

I dont know if your serious, I'll answer just in case someone dopesnt know. Those black boxes are the controllers for the ACIII. They arent ment to be inside the wall. If you just playing with me then....

That all looks great and I have one question: What happens if a DC4 or DC8 goes bad? How do you get the cord out of the wall?

I don't think you could ever satisfy a reef junkie. well unless you sent him a free first class ticket to come and visit along with a few free corals to send home with him. then you may (or may not) satisfy him.
