2000g System overview

:lol: no kidding. I picked that bucket up because it is 6g rather than the standard 5g and it has a really good strong flat lid for attaching BHs to. I really like it. They were sold as coolers and came with a styrofoam insert.
 
Not alot going on tank is up 8 weeks now has another bloom from adding more rock ...all good though

What you are looking for is not possible to be used with these types of skimmers. Only downdrafts or becket skimmers can have an auto shut off due to their designs. I had one with my previous becket skimmer and they do work well for them.

Not exactly the same thing, but you could always put an electronic float valve at the top of the bucket that kicks your skimmer pump off.

WOW.

That thing is going to pull the salt out of the water. Seems to me like you need to upgrade to a bigger tank to feed that skimmer :D :D.
