I just had my 4200 overhauled I think the shafts may be the same size because the old needlewheel fits on it with no problem. Hey jnarowe if you want my old one its yours for free

hmmm i'm wondering if i need to do the same thing

WOW...I just finished reading this whole thread! 30 pages!!!!

NYVP your tank is awesome! If you dont mind talking about $$$, what has this
whole project set you back so far to date? I wouldnt even want to venture a guess.

Also on your last fish list that you posted, I didnt see your Hawaiian cleaner wrasse
listed. I dont know much about them, but from what I read in Robert Fenners
book that most dont last more then a few weeks in home systems. That hawaii
also banned their collection in 1996, from what I read they play a vital role on
the reefs. I was surprised you actually found one for sale.

Once again very cool tank! Probably one of the best setups ive seen yet on here.

asmodeus Ya its a nice size as well

Elliott & thriceanangel thanks I will take a new pic with him settled in

nynex glad you enjoyed my build
I'm getting close to 20k with the corals
the cleaner disappeared. I get them with no problem coral reef farms has them in stock often.

Ty for the kind words. I'm working on getting it done by our november club tank hop

OK. It doesn't look too good now. Mine would never even take silversides. It would just let them go...Somone chimed in and suggested shrimp, which seemed silly to me since it allows shrimp to crawl on it. BUT, when mine was declining in health, I started to feed it pieces of shrimp and it immediately improved. Total turnaround actually and it colored right up and got back to its normal size. Why don't you try that and see how it works?

Jeff Im soo jealous......lol

I speaking with the wife now about upgrading. to test the waters I said I would wait 2 years, then start building a divider similar to yours. She said why two years I should do it next year. I asked her if she was sure....she said yeah. I said have you seen Pics of his.....of course not so I showed her....lol She loved it till she saw the size of the skimmer and the total tank size....lol....

But seriously though....Ive started buying parts....trying to do a setup like your on a smaller scale, 500 gallons total volume. I would love to pick your brain at the next meeting about your plumbing, and stocking tips...

send me an email feel free to come over anytime my house is always open for you ( BTW its Joe)

well you know it better than I of course, and it may just be the colors in the picture, but when I see bleaching at the tentacle base I get worried. I don't know enough about the species though so don't take my word on it!

And that red one is looking really sweet. Beautiful!
