great coral deals and another chance at USC all in one big day. Licking my chops for both!!!!
btw: I like that you announced how you sell tables (early bird verses buy at the door) there were a few folks really bummed at the Cleveland show about that. It was a simple matter of missed communications but I think it may have left a few of those guys a little sore.

Also, (and I am sure you are already on it) c-sea had a sponsor who bought all the tables then gave them to first come first get. I have no clue of any of the details but I am sure that Kevin could explain the whole deal.

glad to see the show back at the old digs with more elbow room !!!

I already have the day off for this. I normally don't work Saturdays but sometimes get scheduled. I just assumed for the c-sea swap that I wouldn't work, then that week was told I had to work. I am going to start fragging some stuff here in next month or so to sell, trade etc.

Dave

Ya, we actually have to give C-SEA credit for that. A couple of us took advantage of the hobbyist table pre-sale at their last event. It definitely rocked. Way better to have guaranteed space and early setup entry than to just show up and hope there is space available, and have to rush and get things out and viewable. I highly recommend anyone that has more than a few frags f/s to take advantage of the table pre-sale.

When we took a look at square footage, and realized that the Grotto is twice as big as last year's event location, it was really a no brainer to move it back. Especially when we saw the crowd that showed up at the C-SEA event this spring. We're looking forward to massive participation again this year. Hope to see everyone there.

Larry, I think you are right on about the number of people likely to show up.

I think what fueled the c-sea numbers were the massive number of pages on frag swapper too. If I remember correctly there were well over 30 pages of trade and sale items.

I agree Dave. Fragswapper has always been my favorite method of sales/purchases. It seems to make things easier for me.

This is so cool. I like the clubhouse at the Quarry, but space was definitely limited last year. Periodic raffles are a good idea too, IMO. I'm looking forward to the swap!

Fragswapper is certainly the way to go in my opinion. I'll probably use it almost exclusively again this year... although I expect with the early bird setup that we'll have quite a number of people that now have the time and space to get some interesting displays.

Periodic raffles are as great idea only if you have a LOUD PA system AND a way to list the winners if your outside when the number is drawn. I wasn;t there but I heard the C-Sea swap had a screen with the winners posted so you could check it on your own time. This way all the smaller reffle items can be given away during the swap and save the 5 largest items for the end. Speeds things up and keeps people around.

We have added a paypal button on our main page for pre-sale tables. There is an option for paid CORA members, non-members and vendors. We are already getting pre-sale interest, so if you plan on purchasing a table, now is the time to go out to the site and lock in your spot. See you in September.

that (paypal) is another very good idea!

I tell eveyone who talks with me about going to these swaos to b sure to at least check out frag swapper.

I am not a fan of big crowds and would likly miss half the good deals if I did not pre arrange sales.
