2009 All Ohio CORA Frag Swap - Saturday September 12th - Achbar Grotto

This is an official notice, from Kadi and Kaden, CORA 2009 Swap spokespeople...

By the power vested in us, we demand you:
  • Triple check that Fragswapper list and get it printed out!
  • Ensure you've done what you can to have some correct bills to help us all out, plenty of 5's 10's (you'd be surprised how many people show up with 50's and 100's wanting to buy $10 frags).
  • Take time to slow down, have a munchie or two, and get some geek time in with fellow reef geeks.
  • Take a look at the goodies at the raffle our amazing sponsors and vendors have donated, and participate if you'd like.
  • Double check that QT tank is ready!
  • Take your time getting here SAFELY, if it's 1 minute or 1 day (yes we have some long travelers for this one).
  • Bring that $5 or $5000, whatever you have planned, and come realizing you will go home with some good frags...

    Especially buy Eric's...

Cause we're hungry... (and that 3x3' pile is barely a week of food).

Seriously, safe travels for everyone, and good luck getting anything and everything you were looking to find (and then some).

Today is the big day!

Thank you Zeppelin and everyone else who put in the many hours of work it takes to make this happen.

So aggravated I can't make this one:mad2: I was hoping for a rainout so I could go. Have fun everyone

Great Job CORA staff...we had a great time. It was nice to meet all of you Columbus reefers....make sure you come visit us at the shop sometime :)

Great swap, thanks for putting in all the work to pull it off. I was able to talk to a lot of reefers yesterday and couldnt have found a nicer group of people. It was also nice not elbow to elbow for the entire 4 hours.

A BIG thanks to all the CORA officers. You guys saved my life, and big thanks to Bryan for holding on to my stuff for the night. I liked the way you guys set up your swap, lots of space, allowing earlybirds with preassigned tables and early entry. First relaxing swap I have been to, not that the others weren't great also. But this swap was very laid back because of the extra space, and no need to bump into people on either side of you. Will definitely be back next yer.

Thanks to everyone for helping to make this event a success!
Thank you to the Frag Swap committee and their dedicated chairman Zeppelin, the vendors who brought an amazing selection of dry and live goods, the hobbyists who shared items from their systems and shopped for items from others, and anyone else who attended the 17th All Ohio CORA Frag Swap.

I acquired some unique new pieces for my system and they are all sitting in my QT tank right now.

MSX-Jeff, I had no idea you guys were so close to Columbus. I did not see hours listed on your website, When is a good time to visit?
If people want to visit should they call first?

In the future I would suggest everyone label the containers they are transporting their corals in with a name and phone number. In case something happens to get left behind ;)

Your welcome Vietcu!

I had a great time with it being my first swap. I am sure I am nott he only one that left with an empty wallet, but a nice styro full of nice frags. I will definitely be back nect year! I almost left early but decided to stick around to 4 for the end of the raffle and I am glad I did as I won the GEO kalk reactor. Thanks again CORA for a great swap.
