2011 Mtrc frag swap & reef expo

My Insurance Co called me first thing this morning, Asked where i would like to have it fixed and when. When i told them they said they would have a rental delivered to the shop for my convience and Wala! All done. 8 Day's repair time due to the Holidays and to my suprise only 3,500.00 to replace both doors and fix the bed and paint the whole right side. They already were going to start on it today!
Farm Bureau is the best Ins Co around IMO.

Frame!

Frame!

well make sure they check the frame is no bent..if so it should be totaled and you get a new one ....

Actually It didn't even get that close the little piece of rocker panel that is below the door just had a dent the size of a quarter in it. Mine is the extended cab and there is no post between the 2 doors, And that made it way less damage than a 4 door model would have been. I'm surprised they even put a skin on the rear door it was so minor damage on it.
Thanks for your concern though!

i just wanted to update everyone interested. REEFBRITE will be at the swap this year showing off some new items. they will have a table and will be donating to the raffle! these are some of the best LED Fixtures in the industry.

This is a Twin ARC halide bulb that are sold in standard spectums with dual arcs (20k's) or in a combo bulb that will run both 10k and 20k spectrums! WICKED!!!!!!

I remember someone manufactured these twin arc bulbs a while back and it flopped. I tried to buy some and could not find any. I will have to start looking again, since about to need new bulbs anyhow.

Side note: Someone might want to change the flyer for the swap on our site. It still says that we have a cover charge. I have directed a few local people to our site as well as RC and did not realize that the flyer was outdated.

Anthony, all of the fliers on the forums are the most up to date version. it links that way. I will see if Andy can update the one on our club site.

Most people don't realize those twin arc bulbs only run one Kelvin rated side at a time, Thus why they flopped IMO I don't want my bulbs to be 10K one day and 20K the next. Bad for your Coral IMO to say the least as changing bulb daily is not a good idea! JMHO

I agree with that. I was interested until I found that out, they're pointless IMO.

Bill, from talking to Joy, the bulbs that are the same spectrum alternate the elements that way to extend the useful life of the bulb, but the mixed bulbs dont alternate. they burn both elements for a total of 250 watts so you get the benefit of both spectrums.

Well that's a different type bulb than the previous ones that never caught on then! They just don't make a whole lot of sense to me either way. But that's just me.
Bill

Yeah, the older style made less sense. Just seems like a neat idea though. Who knows it they make a difference or not.

Before it is construed in any other way, my stating that REEFBRITE was going to be at our swap what just that. Excitement to have another sponsor who is attending. IMO, they have some cool products, but in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM am I recommending them at this time. I have not used the bulb photo'd in my earlier post so I cannot speak in any way on its performance nor inner workings. I can just go on what I was "told" by the company representative and my personal opinion on it.
WICKED!!!!!!

If this is construed in any other way, I sincerely apologize for any personal mis-representation.

Lindsey will you please add the address to the flier instead of the directions you have. People need an address to put this into their GPS. Thanks. lets make sure that if we are handing these out at places that we get ones out there with an address on it. Hate for people not to show up due to lack of address.

This is totally off the subject, but last year there were some sellers that missed out on some money from me for example because their zoas were closed up and they didn't have any pics of them to at least offer you to view.
