2012 Bow Season starts 10/1!?!

Even casting metal is getting tougher. With the new laws on wheel weights forcing them to steel, we lost our primary source of "bullets".

Yea my mechanic buddy was telling me the same thing. He also stated that he had almost 2 tons in lead wheel weights...he's a die hard reloader. I need to learn.

All the reloading supplies are going for ridiculous prices on eBay. Nothing to be found locally. I've saved every shell I've shot so far.

I meant gun hysteria in NYS in general. I can't imagine a time when I'm going to need a round that big, but these Bozos in Albany have everyone going crazy. I'm one of them. I'm buying the only other gun I want while I can, God knows what these nuckin futty politicians will come up with next.

Anyway....BOWHUNTING thread!!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad I bought a couple receivers at the end of December right after Christmas. Now I just need to get the money to finish them up. I've always saved my brass, but don't have a reloader.... yet.

I usually chase after the bushy tails a couple times, but I haven't been out yet. I may end up going out this weekend when I am walking around the maple trees getting syrup, but we'll see. I put a 3-9x scope and bipod on the .22 last summer. Shooting palm sized groups at 100 yards with a .22 is fun!

These are not mine but were in a lodge that we just stayed at in Oregon. The owner got everyone of these. I thought that you guys would appreciate these pics.

Hey, does anyone have a recurve they're ready to part with? I might be looking for a one piece, 55lb. I'd take a 45lb but it'd need to get replaced eventually. Send me a PM.

Nice find. I'm surprised the mice didn't eat the antlers. Whenever I've found them, they have nibble marks everywhere.

Holy sheds!

Did you find that in one of your spots? This year? Man , that's got some thick bases. Any guess on a score?

Nice find mark.
