Hey RC,

I started a 10gallon nano last year, it crashed. So, now after I have finally moved out of my parents place, I decided to upgrade to a slightly bigger tank.
The Pico 20Gallon aquarium(has been discontinued.)

I purchased this tank used, so I did have to do a major clean up, I did the best I can, especially trying to removed the Coraline Algea from the back. The glass has minor scratches all around but its something I can live with for the price I paid for it.

That is the tank when I purchased it. I ran freshwater with a bit of vinegar through it for 3 days, with the pump going and everything. That helped at removing some of the mess on the back cover.

This is the tank as of July 4th, 2016.

Getting this tank wet on Friday July 8th, 2016.

Equipment list for now.
  • 20 AiO Pico tank
  • Ai Prime ( Non HD)
  • Hydor Koralia 425 ( I will be purchasing a second one)
  • 100W Heater(Will be upgrading to 150W)
  • Cobalt MJ1200 Powerhead for Return

I am unsure of getting a skimmer or not, if yes I was looking at the Aquatic Life 115.

I will be following a strict water change schedule, every Saturday or Sunday of at least 25%. I will be relying on my water changes to replenish the necessary parameters ( I use Red Sea Coral pro salt. )

My stocking list as of now, I'm really unsure of what I want to stock except for 1 fish.
  • Royal Gramma
  • Any Goby(I need suggestions)
  • Clownfish(unsure if regular occellaris or *rarer* type)
  • Skunk Cleaner Shrimp(Obliged by my girlfriend)
  • 2 Sexy Shrimps(Possibly)

Corals are unsure as of this moment as well.

Here are more pictures with the aquascape and all.

Thanks for reading through it. Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

Water has tested Ammonia :D everything is going well! :)

Order new Hydor Koralia 425, chemipure blue and chemipure elite! :)

I would pick up a good skimmer so you don't have to do so much water changes so often.

Other than that, looking great.
