Nice food mix. I am glad you added how much you spend on it as well. I am almost as excited to find out how much you spend as you are to tell us. I didnt have time to read the entire thread but what happened to the great looking clams you placed in the sand? I know everyone said they were looking bad and would die, but you swore they were fine. I bet they are huge by now. Keep up the good work and continue to keep everyone updated.
Oh, I am glad the loser you said would never have a nice tank like yours stopped posting. Maybe hes saving his money like you said he should. Or maybe hes trying not to talk to his mom the way he talks to you, that was sooo funny the way you said that! Nothing like talking about someones mom to set the mood! Next time someones child says parents are out of touch, we can say "now wait a minute, grown-ups act like immature children at times...we even talk about peoples moms too". You will be the next tank of the month.

Nice way to be conflagrant on a topic.

Additonally, Maybe mom's and dad's are good for things such as ointing out things that children MISS the first time around. :p

The tank is looking MUCH better than it did on the initial photos. We all make mistakes and learn from them. I am just glad to see things are getting better. People need to see the progression and see the tank turning around... not keep going back to old stuff that is said and done.

How's the new tang doing by the way? Any pics?

I understand that things turn around, I've seen a few turn around reef tank threads here and those are really wonderful to see and i learn much from them.
However, I need some text near the photos of things that have changed in order to understand things have changed. In particular to understand the hows and whys. Husbandry info. Would you agree?
I'm trying to get my learn on, and any thread of this nature is a learning tool of sorts for newcomers, right?
I've read the thread. I guess what i'm saying is; what is being done to make things better? It's like i'm missing something, yet i don't know how I could be missing something when i've read the entire thread multiple times.

RO/DI added.
Bio balls removed.
Algae improved.

It looks a lot better. You could nest anemonefish in his algae before. I'm just curious if he can keep up with that fish load over time. I'm looking forward to pics next month and beyond.

Iridescentlily,
my bumps alone the way....
three surgeonfish in to small a tank.....achilles, powder blue, powder brown.
Let to really stressed out fish and an ich outbreak....then i made a big mistake and used some fish vet medication and ended up killing hundreds in fish and corals....i say from the medication and ich.
lesson learned....
changed to rodi water....after getting a city report of my water which was not as good as i thought. 400tds reading. previous post tells more about it.

Most of my success i attribute to my refugium getting more and more established. And of course this kick %$& skimmer. MSX250.
Also how much food i am now feeding.... corals seem to love the constant feeding....and all the tang poop. lol.
