Your woodwork on the front of your tank wall is the best I have seen..I love the way you designed it and would like to do something similar. A couple questions if you dont mind:

After you skinned it, how thick was the wood that you built the frames with? Did you put the molding on the inside of that framing? Did you skin past the plasic trim on your tank and then put the molding over it? I have studied your pictures but just want to make sure.

Your tank inside and out is exactly what I am trying to do in my bar. I appreciate any insight you can provide.

Thanks for the compilment. The boards are 3/4" and the molding is called panel molding. Here's pic of how the molding sits on both levels.

Page 23 shows the molding profile.

On the tank trim I made it where the panel molding covered the tanks plastic trim. Let me know if have any more questions.

Its been awhile any updates, how about some growth.

Well things haven't worked out just yet. I got red bugs and now AEFW. I have moved all my acros to a seperate system and have started to dip them once a week. Hopefully I'll win that battle.

Its looking a little empty now.

I may be going another direction with the tank. I plumbed an all actinic LED 20 cube off my inwall to my office. I really like it and I'm thinking of switching to LEDs and going heavy LPS. Heres the 20 cube.
