220 Gal Build for a 700 gallon system (STRS)

Another tank?!?!?!?!? Whats the size on that new peice? Stuff is looking great as usuall man! One of these days ill have to make a trip out to see it in person!

Sweet looking additions to the tank. I can't wait to see all those beautiful tanks when I am up in that area. Still looking for a text from you with available pieces and prices. Congrats on the new tank (I think most of us have a problem...) What size is it? I have always loved Anthias, a harem would be cool. It would also look amazing as an anemone tank and a boat load of designer clowns, maybe phantoms, midnights, and Wyoming whites, and maybe a few naked clowns. you ever got any anemone clones available?

I like the idea of a clownfish tank as well but i think anthias would be alittle more attractive due to my inability to keep them in my tank full of tangs the tank is a 90gallon. My first ever anonome is going into this soft coral tank so im excited :)

In all honesty, they really aren't as hard as people make them out to be (at least RBTA's). Let them do what they want, keep their water clean, put good lights over them, and you'll be fine :).

After the two frag swaps Natures Best Reef and ABC's ill be posting alot of updates on coral growths and how my Radion metal halide experiment is going.

Time to give some updates most of these photos are iphone photos with minor editing. So far the metal halide addition to my tank has done great for my sps in terms of growth and color. Lps on the other hand have almost been completely removed due to wanting more space for sps corals along with me fear of giving some of them too much light. For parameters they're pretty much still the same now that I got use to using the calcium reactor more effectively. A few of these I dont have an ID for just yet.

Acropora Cytherea I got this a few months ago. So far its been growing slow but its getting faster by the day. I suspect when It gets more settle it will take off.
Heres a shot 5 months later.

Acropora Austera Growth after a few months. This coral seems to be a faster grower for me Ill attempt to get a better shot to show how drastic of a color shift this coral has gone.

Acropora Austera When I first got this guy I underestimated the lighting power of halides even at 2/3 hours this coral got completely bleached after a few months the color came back but due to that incident this coral didnt grow too much.

Acropora Verweyi Got these guys a few weeks ago so far everything is acclimating okay.

Acropora Gomezi

Green Stylophora

Got myself an Urchin wanted something fresh to look at.
