225 Tank build thread

I should be good to go Paul, everything is acrylic and the bulkheads I'm installing (total of 18 of them) need either a 2 3/8" or a 3" hole.

looking good, I cant wit to seee this one. I was so impressed with the fish room, wish my mech room was that big.
You need to get a picture with someone in that room for perspective, Its like a descent sized bedroom in there!
And tiled to boot!
Makes my setup look like something from a 3rd world country.

I forgot to mention we've got an ASM G5 to handle the skimming (those who were at the meeting saw it), and I ordered 2 Darts and all the bulkheads last night. Hopefully I'll be able to water test this baby soon. I still need to build the sump, and need to figure out how I'm going to plumb the return for the open loop...

I'll post some more pics as we get more stuff done... Pumps should be here next week so I'll be posting pics as we do the plumbing next weekend.

Eric do you have some pics ort a link to those bulkheads with the nozzle thingies?

No good pics of the bulkheads, I found a guy in Utah that had them and he got them from his store in Salt Lake... I called his LFS and they mailed me them directly. He said he's the only one he knows of that carries them. I even tried pool/spa places and they don't carry a decent one that will work for an aquarium. I'll try to get a pic of them when I'm at my Dad's again, or we'll hook up and you can see them in person.

Hopefully. That would be great. I think I am helping my electrician firend with some work that day, but hopefully I am back later that day. I would love to see your Dad's tank and house. Plus I need to bug you for some acrylic and glue to glue a hole shut in my overflow.
