Looking good, is that FTS with the 15K's?
I think He's a she but we'll see, i think at that size you would have more pronounced streamers starting. I bought my male naso at about 5-6" and it had really long streamers at that size.
anyway looking good!
Chris

Thanks Chris, yes that is with the 15K's. I thought it was a F as well, but Scott felt that it was too small to have streamers yet. I guess only time will tell.

That looks good! Must have just missed you at Scotts yesterday.

Yep, he said you were just there... Just need to get a CO2 refill on the 20lb and 5lb tanks and I'll be able to get everything dialed in. Then it will be time to start filling it with frags! ;)

Nice, Bro!!!!

Thanks Paul, heard you were a hero the other day for BlueManDJ, way to go bud!

Looks good Eric. Chris wasn't your Naso wild caught with the streamers already? I know mine started sprouting streamers. Taking forever it seems like. Your Naso's are very long.

Not a hero, just helping out a fellow reefer. That Barracuda pump puts out some serious pressure. LOL the siphon break launched a stream, about 10' across the living room the 1st time I restarted the pump.

mine had pretty long streamers from day 1 , not as long as now but long.

Say Dan, hows your tank doing? Your frags are pretty nicely colored in my 10. some killed parts of each other off, but they have been nice to each other lately.

LOL, My tank is in need of some cleanup crew and other stuff still. I want to head up to Scott's and get my urchin. I made a refguim out of an old salt water bucket the other day to try and help absorb some nutrients. My big skimmer is kicking a$$ too. Still need more export though. I need to come see you today Eric. Thanks for holding on to my stuff Chris.

LOL! Sorry guys I haven't been over there recently and the diatoms have started. My Dad's been down to Scotts buying up lots of snails and conchs to help control it. I'll be headed over soon to help him catch his Naso, as it will be traded back in for a yellow fin blonde w/ streamers that Scotty just got in today. ;)

I saw your dads naso at Scotts today, it is a male for sure.
how long do you run the MH's for and how is the tank temp doing without a chiller?

MH's are on from 12-8 and Actinics are 10-10... No heat issues at all, tank temp is 78 with the lights on and 76 with them off. No fan's, nothing. I'm thinking about cutting the lights back even further to try help with the diatom's. :(

sweet! thats good to hear about the temp Eric, I guess the diatoms are a good thing, the tank is just going through the normal cycling motions right?
Chris

Well Conchs and Snail are starting the time consuming process of cleaning up the diatoms, we lost 1 yellow tang due to bulling, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the other 3... :( Everything else is doing well for now. I think we're going to go ahead and just add the other Naso to the tank rather than doing a trade(starting to think the first one is a F). Of course that will happen only once it starts to clear up a bit.

Tang

Those Tangs seem kinda shy, guess this one took a beating to boot. I remember the brown Diatom stage, this to soon shall pass. I just got a Conch those snails are sweeeet. Wished I had one when I was going through the stage.
