Here is an update pic, everything is doing amazing with the 250 Radium halide, cant believe that Im running the reef tank successfully with barely 1 watt per gallon of halide lighting.

yeah the GSP is spreading on the sand bed...

Its really hard to focus on my desk when I have that 240g 9 feet away!!! :headwalls:

I just wast to happy with the color and coral growth... I previously had T5s and the color was great. The light spread and intensity is amazing with the Sols

Now with the 250 Radium Halide the color and growth is amazing... Im gonna try to mimic the radium color with a mix of LED colors

I might even give the AI vegas a try!!!

The tank has done amazing with the 250 watt halide and 4x39 T5 set up (for dawn and dusk and to supplement color)

Will probably not go back to LEDs in a while, probably just to supplement but thats it for now..

The acrylic has been holding up real good, only minor scratches a couple of months ago from a small snail that got in between the magnets....

I'm looking at the exact same tank dimensions. How thick is the eurobrace(I am considering acrylic too) I have 3 Chinese LEDs and was going to add a fourth because the tank will be rimless, but I'm sort of digging the 1 250 watt radium and might consider it if I could find a way to make it look really clean
