REALLY good build thread with an excellent result so far... Really like the total look from the front including the beautiful trim.

You'll be so happy with your access panel; I have seen so many in wall systems without such a panel, which are many times a pain to maintain, let alone doing the aquascaping (especially when filled with water...)

Keep up the great work!

Thank you Hans!
I really couldn't imagine myself dealing with the headache of not having access from the front. It came in very handy while we were aquascaping as I was able to reach from the front while the guys handed me rock from the back, no need to "walk around" to see if an adjustment was necessary:lol2:!

It's official, aquascape is complete with substrate and an additional 80lbs of live rock!!!
Big thanks to fellow reefer crieken, for coming over and helping out:thumbsup:

The entire weekend was spent mixing up several batches of salt water, filling the tank and arranging the substrate and rock:bounce3::bounce2::bounce1:
I was able to get some very large pieces of Fiji yesterday fresh from a fellow reefer a couple miles away. I stumbled upon an emerald crab on the bottom of the box even though the box sat in the garage overnight so I threw him in the tank after it was all done and he immediately went to work scouring for food.:D

The skimmer is online and the sicce psk-2500's are making some super fine bubbles, it won't be long before there's skimmate in the cup. I'll post pics after work tomorrow!
