Thank you!!

That gives me and I am sure a few others ideas for the rest of the week, ok next week too!

Thanks a whole lot for those pictures.

When I see a friends tank for the first time I am usually looking under the hood more than at what is in it.

trust me i know the feeling. i have looked alot more under the hood than in tanks and i have gathered ideas from all over to incorporate in my setup.

Numair youll tell me about that ciller feeder, sounds interesting. How would you use it to feed mysis/brine?

Awais u can feed brine with this auto feeder but not mysis.
i have 7 doser Bubble Magus unit. 3 on main and 4 on the second unit. i have never used the second unit. the only 3 i dose when i leave for long term vacation and if my parents are not available then thats the only time is comes into play.
here is how it works.

i feed actipods, brine shrimp and dry cyclopeeze on a timer.
that way i do it is each doser is programmed to come on at a particular time.
i have my apex synced with that time.
example: arctipods are suppose to come on at 4pm so Apex is programmed to tune a small 300gph pump at 3:58pm. this pump is inside the main tank hidden behind a few rocks runs a flex tubing to attach to clear pvc that runs water from DT through the pvc and into the fridge and back to DT.
once this pump comes on i have Apex programmed to shut the return pump. so while this pump is pumping for 15 min return is off for 15 min. and in between the doser comes on dosing arctipods or brine or cyclopeeze into the pvc T which will take the food to main tank and feed the fish.
i know its not the main coarse for the fish but i have them trained to eat it by mixing some in mysis and main foods.
so when u are out u can count of fish having some food rather than starving.
frozen brine can stay in ro/di water at 40F for about 5 days or so. Artipods are not frozen they are already refridgerated and cyclopeeze i use is dry powder mixed with ro/di water which is also good for a while in fridge.
only problem i run into after 4-5 days is not food getting spoiled but water drying out for that u will have to place foods in a lid container and drill a hole just big enough to push the dosing tube through it.
i hardly use it infact i have not even set it up now on this tank yet but its there if i need it. My parents are conveniently available to feed my tank now as they have moved in with me.

How was that acclimation?

lol 6 months i am still acclimating. lmao but i bought a big house 3800 sq ft so i can practically hide and be un-noticed.
i gave them the ground floor master bedroom and i took the 1st floor master bedroom. on 1st floor i have personal kitchen master bath and a huge game room over my 3 car garage fr myself along with 3 other bedrooms and 2 baths. so i practically have a house myself.. basically its almost living in 2 separate homes under same roof.
they sure hate me spending so much time and money in the tank. they dont think i am doing anything productive.
Love my parents but its still very hard as i am used to being by myself since i was 16 yrs old. lot of parental questions and lectures and suggestions sometimes but what can u do they are parents, i may do the same with my son.
still hard lol.

Good job... Yes be careful of the dreaded "You are acting like your parents" disease. That one is hard to get rid of.

I always treated it with "Kill them with kindness" in LARGE dosages.
