I know I posted this picture in the 'how do you feed a BTA' thread, but I wanted to give it it's own thread. it's just too good of a picture. Poor lil Thompson's Tang.

that is crazy something must be wrong with the tang look at its tail looks like its brown on the tips

BTA is not a fish predator, but they will eat a small dead or dying fish i had a chromis jump and i found it kind of dead put it in my BTA and it swallowed it.

I agree, no way a healthy tang is getting captured by a BTA. I have several (and counting ) and none of them can hold onto a fish that can swim at all, and they don't sting enough to immobilize them.

Yeah, I've been dealing with ich on that fish for a while, so he was probably either dead or close to it when the nem got him.

And GSM, in that pic of the tang, there's no problem with him. He's just a juvi, and that's what their tail looks like.

Actually, that picture makes him look a lot cooler than he usually looks.

To the naked eye it's a grey fish with a white tail.
