25 Gallon Lagoon

Hello, I'm trying to create a fish list for my new 25 gallon.
Dimensions are 24"x20"x12"

So I created some sets, please give opinions, suggestions, and even move my lists around and edit them. I do want 2 ocellaris clowns for sure regardless of the set. I also put a poll.. Let me see if I did this right.

Set 1:
2 Ocellaris Clowns
Small Goby and Pistol Shrimp
Lawnmower Blenny

Set 2:
2 Ocellaris Clowns
Tiger Watchman Goby
Tailspot Blenny

Set 3:
2 Ocellaris Clowns
Royal Gramma
Lawnmower Blenny

Set 4, this one with the right landscape i think can work, but advise please:
2 Ocellaris Clowns
Flame Hawkfish
Tiger Goby and Shrimp
Lawnmower or Tailspot Blenny

2 is the only one that will work: lawnmower is too large for a 25. You must also supply green food for any blenny. They are vegetarians, almost exclusively.

My vote was for #2 as well. Just keep in mind the Tiger Watchman needs a large, established sand bed to thrive. A Tailspot Blenny would be a perfect addition. They stay small, have great personalities, and eat any prepared foods after they are used to your tank.

After reading more about the tiger, I decided to not get it. I also bought reef sand so I don't think it will work for best for the tiger. I like the idea of 2 as well, with the tailspot. In place of the tiger, should it be a watchman and shrimp? Or could I now add something else?

What I am trying to create is something living on the bottom, middle, and top. Which I guess two covers it haha.

Yes, I would do a smaller Watchman goby. Nothing from the Valenciennea genus, as those all sift the sand bed.

Look into getting a single or a pair of Yasha gobies. Satisfaction guaranteed. My second favorite shrimp goby is Dracula goby.
A possum wrasse would add some action.

If you can find them look at Priolepis nocturna. I once had one, great little fish. I plan on another in my future aio build.

I have never seen one in person before, I work at a LFS I'll see if I can get them in.

Yasha/Pistol pair and possum wrassse would be great. I love my W. tanaka and I'm thinking about getting a yasha/pistol pair soon.

You won't be disappointed. I strongly suggest to QT them not only for disease prevention but also for food conditioning. It's not that easy to find a possum wrasse that eats dry foods but my last two did. That was a big deal for me when I had to travel out of town and couldn't feed my fishes. My current Yasha goby is a true champion. It made it through formalin dips and coppersafe treatment without any issues.
