well mu guess is the tank never cycled and after adding 3 tangs, a completely reef safe wrasse that is eating his CuC and completely reef safe blue throat trigger along with some other misc fish, the cycle began. that along with the cement blocks he has for live rock that he allowed to cure for an entire week probably caught up with him.

Sorry guys I have a busy weekend wont be alot of post for me. Yes my blue hippo is alive and my Naso with streamers is rollin. Everyday im figuring out i made the worst decision on getting the wrasse. My buddy will be here in the morning to help me fish him out =). Checked water levels everything still looks good. im officialy on the fresh water top off team now and just got my new lights tank looks so bright!!!!! new pics coming soon

Have you been able to get those new pics yet? Any luck catching the wrasse? Glad to hear you are on the fresh water top off team. Even though you have been doing this several years longer than me, I think you made the right choice

i'm not trying to start crap here, but this is way too quick to cycle a tank. It doesn't matter what water you add to the tank, as it's not the water that cycles, it's the rock. You're adding diy live rock directly to your dt, but diy rock can take months to cure, not a week. On top of that it appears you added about a dozen fish in the span of 1 week. I have a bad feeling that this isn't going to last long before something bad happens if you don't slow down with this setup.

Wow his weekends are longer then he takes to cycle a tank. But with all do respect he keeps saying God bless after everything he responds to. I think me being a christian find him to be a hypocrite. God does not want us playing and toying around with his creatures like you do. Give the tank a chance to get stabilized then add creatures. I moved quick too and got my first fish at 3 weeks. But I waited 2 weeks after the cycle. Good luck with the tank and I hope for your sake you have learned your lesson of being ignorant. I DOUBT IT THOUGH.

I realize he is a liar (read all the threads and it was pretty clear), but is he too childish to admit his mistakes, or at least let us know everything is still good? I highly doubt anything is still alive in his tank, but he could just own up to it.

Maybe we could all just email him, it might motivate him.
